Toronto, Ontario, September 18, 2006 - IA Clarington Investments
Inc. ("IA Clarington") today announced that it is filing a
preliminary prospectus for the Clarington Global Dividend Fund
("the Fund"). The Fund will be advised by ABN AMRO Asset Management
Canada Limited, with ABN AMRO Asset Management (Netherlands) B.V.
acting as sub-advisor. The Fund's investment objective will be to
provide a combination of income and long-term capital growth
through investment in a portfolio consisting primarily of equity
securities of businesses located around the world.

been filed with certain Canadian securities commissions or similar

until the relevant securities commissions or similar authorities
issue receipts for the final simplified prospectus of the Fund.
